Technical grounding
Relevant work experience, and a professional qualification either held or in progress — CA, ACCA or equivalent.
Communication
Strong interpersonal and written skills. Much of audit is asking the right question and recording the answer clearly.
Self-direction
Reliable and self-motivating. Engagements are partner-led, which means you work closely with a partner rather than behind layers.
Range
Interest in working across audit, tax and accounting for businesses of different sizes, rather than one narrow specialism.
